Alexandra DaSilva is a native New Yorker. When she graduated from high school, she decided to trade in her life of subway rides and dollar slice pizzas for four years of driving in L.A. traffic and eating kale while she studied at the University of Southern California. In May 2016, she graduated from USC with a B.A. in Narrative Studies and hopped on a plane at LAX to move back to New York.

Alexandra has enjoyed rediscovering New York – from visiting the new Whitney in the Meatpacking District to riding the Second Avenue Subway – and is excited to share what she’s learned. She loves the Knicks and thinks that eating a Tender Supreme with sweet potato fries from Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken is the solution for having a perfect day.
