An installation set up like a familiar living room, adorned with the artist’s signature wallpaper, porcelain figurines, and kitsch objects, present a fusion of blackness and beauty enmeshed with (white) Americana. This body of work, on the whole, explores American logic, desire, and the fragile and precious construct of human solidarity.
