Broadway Shows Kids Can See for Free!

It‘s Kids’ Night on Broadway, your once-a-year chance to snag free tickets to the best shows on the Great White Way.

SpongeBob SquarePants The Broadway Musical

Holy kinky boots! It’s your lucky once-a-year chance to take your kids to the best Broadway shows—for free. On February 27, the Broadway League hosts its annual Kids’ Night on Broadway, when you can score a free ticket for your under-18 kiddo when you buy one for yourself.

If your little one hasn’t been awed by the The Lion King or Wicked, now’s the time. Though we don’t know for sure yet which shows are participating, those two Broadway favorites—plus School of Rock, Dear Evan Hansen, Aladdin, and Phantom of the Opera—were all on the list last year. Our fingers are crossed for Hamilton, of course, but we don’t want to get too excited.

Though Kids’ Night isn’t happening until next year, the tickets go on sale today. So drop what you’re doing and go here at 10:30 a.m. sharp to get your child’s free ticket when you purchase one for yourself. Trust us, these go fast; if you’re flexible about what you want to see, though, you’ll be able to plan a great day for the new year.

Why You Should Go: Uh, it’s a free Broadway show! Make a kid-parent night of it; each ticket includes in-theater activities, restaurant discounts, and more.
