The folks from Land & Sea Dept. have created a series of beautiful Zoom background images you can use to jazz up your virtual happy hours. So while you can’t visit places like Lonesome Rose, Lost Lake, Milk Room, or Cherry Circle Room in person, you can at least pretend!

Virtually Explore a Frank Lloyd Wright Site 
If you’re eager to get out of your house and into one designed by Chicago’s most famed architect, you sort of can, thanks to virtual tours being hosted every Thursday at noon of 12 different sites. These include Emil Bach House, Fallingwater, Graycliff, and Hollyhock House, put together by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and the Unity Temple Restoration Foundation.

Inspired by the inescapable Netflix series, Vanille Patisserie has created Tiger King Cakes available for delivery. Similar to a Mardi Gras–style king cake, it’s a marble striped coffee cake with orange glaze, and each one contains a little plastic tiger.

It’s kind of like Big Brother, but it’s a pandemic-induced quarantine. A cast and crew of nine people spent 10 days living together, quarantined at the Annoyance Theater, and you can watch the livestreamed results online! It’s free to view, but donations are welcome to help support the staff.
