This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including both users who are simply viewing content available via the Service, users who have registered via the Apps or the Site in order to purchase goods and/or services (“Membership”), and/or users who are contributors of content via the Service.

Information Covered by This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information that we may collect through our Service; sending us personal information by email, mail, and/or fax; contributing to the Service, registering for a Membership, or speaking with one of our representatives on the phone. Personal Information means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous, deidentified or aggregate data). It also does not include publicly available information.

Publicly Available Data

You agree that the information you choose to share with us through the Service about you was information you authorized third party internet services providers to share through the internet with the public about you; was lawfully made available by you to a federal, state, or local agency; may be lawfully found in federal, state, or local government records; or was made available to the general public by you before you shared it through the Service.

What Information About You Do We Collect?

For the purpose of carrying on our business and administering our Service, we may collect, use, store and transfer different categories of personal data which we have grouped together as follows:

What Sources Do We Use to Collect Information?

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with a Membership in exchange for payment). In this case, we may have to cancel the contract you have with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at that time.

How Do We Do Use Your Personal Information?

We may use the personal information you choose to submit through the Service to communicate with you about our services. When we collect this information, we may store it in our computer systems. Do not submit any information via the Service that you do not want us to store or use. If you do not want to submit information through the Service, call us instead.

We have set out below a description of all the ways we may use your personal information.

We use aggregated information (such as anonymous user usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the Service and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user preferences and trends. In addition, we may use “cookies,” clear gifs and log file information to deliver content (which may include third party advertisements) specific to your interests, and remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Service.

You can, of course, disable cookies on your computer by indicating this in the preferences or options menus in your browser. However, it is possible that some parts of the Service will not operate correctly if you disable cookies. The Service may not support your browser software’s Do Not Track setting or feature. Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit Do Not Track signals that give you control over the collection and use of web browsing information. Since there are no uniform standards for such signals, the Service does not process or respond to such signals. You should consult with your browser’s provider/manufacturer if you have any questions regarding disabling cookies.

Will We Sell Or Share Personal Information with Others?

We will not share or sell your personal information with other, third-party companies for their commercial or marketing use without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.

We may provide personal information to employees, consultants, affiliates or other businesses or persons for the purpose of processing such information on our behalf. In such circumstances, we require that these parties agree to protect the confidentiality of such information and to comply in all respects with this Privacy Policy. In addition, we may provide personal information to third parties from whom you purchase tickets, products or services through us, in which case such information will be governed by the third party’s policies rather than ours. We are not responsible and cannot be held liable for any action taken by any third party with respect to your information.

We may share non-personal information (such as anonymous or deidentified User usage data, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third-parties to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the Service.

Third Party Advertisers

We may allow other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within the Service. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on the Service. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content you see. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers or ad networks for more information on their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them, and we cannot control their activities.

Links

The Service may contain links to third party sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party sites. Please also be aware that the privacy policies of other sites may differ significantly from the privacy policy of this Website. Therefore, we encourage our users to read the privacy statement of each and every website that collects personal information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by the Service.

Is My Information Secure?

We have implemented reasonable security measures, including limiting the number of people that have access to our database servers and installing electronic security systems, to protect personally identifiable information collected on the Service against loss, misuse or alteration. In addition, your account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by logging off once you have finished using a shared computer. Moreover, despite the precautions described above, we cannot and do not guarantee that the individual user information you have transmitted will not be intercepted by others and/or decrypted or accidentally disclosed, and we accept no liability for any unintentional disclosure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, so you do so at your own risk.

In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy

In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is treated, transferred, or used.

Request to Delete

We will, up to 2 times in a 12-month period, honor a request that we delete personal information that we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as where an applicable law requires us to retain the data). You can submit a deletion request by e-mailing us at legal@whatshouldwedo.com. In the app, users can request that their account be deleted by going to My Account, opening User Info, clicking on Edit, pressing Delete Account. When you submit a deletion request, we will ask you to provide some information in order to verify your identity and respond to your request. Specifically, we will ask you to verify information that can be used to link your identity to particular records in our possession or to a user account, which depends on the nature of your relationship and interaction with us. We will endeavor to respond to and comply with your deletion request within 45 days.

Children’s Privacy

We do not target, market to, or offer the Service to children under the age 13 who are living anywhere in the world. We do not collect or maintain information on our Service from those we actually know are under the age of 18. We request that all visitors to our Website who are under 18 not disclose or provide any personal information. If we discover that we have collected personal information about a person under the age of 18, we will take appropriate steps to delete that person’s personal information from our records.

Special Note to International Users

The Service is hosted in the United States and is primarily intended for and directed to users in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Service, which is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Use, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

Email Communications

If you submit your personal information through the Service, we may send you emails. Additionally, you may opt-in through the Service to receive our newsletter via email. If you receive an email from us that you did not want to receive or if you want us to stop sending you emails after you receive one from us, follow the unsubscribe instructions in the email. We will use reasonable and appropriate measures to honor your request. If you unsubscribe from emails, we may still communicate with you as necessary for reasons including, but not limited to, verifying your email, providing you with goods and/or services, performing a contract with you, resetting your login credentials, responding to you, and notifying you of changes to the Service.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may, at our sole discretion, revise, modify, or update this Privacy Policy at any time. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all uses of the Service thereafter. When we change it, we will revise the Privacy Policy’s revision date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we change the Privacy Policy in a way that will decrease limitations on how we may use the information it collected about you, we will either send a notice email to you at the email address you provided or the email address we have on file for you, or we will publish a notice on the Service, or we will use other reasonable and appropriate measures to notify you of the change. By your continued access or use of the Service, you confirm that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page each time you access the Service, so that you are aware of the changes, as they are binding.
