In a city with no dearth of local beer options and tasting rooms, Angel City Brewery’s capacious Arts District home base is a standout. Unfortunately you can’t actually ride the metal slide that spirals down from the second floor—that’s a vestige from the building’s past life as a factory—but there’s plenty else to do here, with cornhole and other games, frequent food trucks outside, and loads of room to gather and knock one back with friends. In addition to taps of Angel City’s own brews (including exclusives), the brewery makes itself a community destination with regular programming like trivia, yoga, art exhibitions, and more.
