Why We Love It

There's a fine amount of well-made Moroccan food to be had in New York City—chicken and lamb tagines, couscous-based dishes, and more—and Mogador should be near the top of your list. This micro-chain has another location in the East Village that's worth a visit. That EV location opened in 1983—and 25 years in New York restaurant time is about 125 years in normal time, so the founding family that still runs the establishment must be doing something right!
